For the past 15 years, we have been engaging with the Business Entrepreneurship and Innovation BA (Hons) students at De Montfont University in Leicester and collaborating with them for their Consulting Live Project. The module provides a clear link between the development of relevant skills and employability through different perspectives, exploration of alternative solutions, critical evaluation and integration of theory and practice.
Every year is a different topic of interest and this year’s focus was on ‘Reducing our energy costs to meet future sustainability requirements’. It prompted impressive solutions from the students within a 6-week timeframe. Their deep understanding of our industry challenges and innovative suggestions have left us excited about integrating these ideas into our future plans.
Positive feedback reaffirmed the value of our partnership, expressing appreciation for our commitment to the module and the students’ engagement with our business.
