Whilst navigating challenges in the retail landscape and weathering a pandemic, the unwavering support, laughter and unity have kept us resilient. Meet our Directors as we kick off our timeline! It all started in 1970 with our original Owner and Chairman, Paul Ransom. Our current Chairman and Managing Director, Mark Ranson and Colin Parker, were in nappies at the time but a few years later, together with a magnificent team, grew Antone into an industry leader we are so proud of!
We started in our Syston office in 1980. Key Displays Ltd was bought in 1999. Both sites and companies were ran in unison for 5 years before both companies were merged and moved to Key House where we have been based since 2004. With close links to the M1 and other motorway links, it provides the perfect location for easy access.
In the very early days, we worked on some ground-breaking designs from projects crafted in an era long before CAD revolutionised the industry. Back in the day, drawing boards were the norm and dedicated individuals spent hours at the dye-line printer to produce prints for approval.
In this nostalgic trip down memory lane, we have enjoyed reminiscing on the incredible support form our early clients that propelled us into diverse sectors that are still thriving today.
