Winding down the festive period has been a thing of the past this year at Antone. With some amazing projects being completed before the holidays and others gearing up for the new year, it has been all hands on deck.
Through the workload, we have managed to squeeze in a few giggles and quizzes in true Christmas fashion!! Natasha Trevor, in our Sales office, brought in the delights of Walkers Crisps Christmas Pudding Flavour as a blind tasting exercise, it took a while to find the winning answer! Guesses included Mulled Wine, Stuffing, Parsnip, Bakewell Tart and Mince Pie. However, the winner with finely tuned taste buds was our Estimator, Michelle Nelson.
Crisps are normally hoovered up in no time by our hungry crew, however, these were left unattended for a number of hours and remained in their bag! We don’t think it is a flavour we will be buying again but it bought a little bit of fun and festive sparkle to our offices!
It’s also been a little bit chilly for our lunchtime walks so quizzes have been filling the void. Here, we have our winner Suzanne Smith with her fantastic score of 22/25 on the Cryptic Shopping Quiz. As we scratched our heads on a few of them, Suzanne was quietly giggling in the corner. Thank you Natasha for bringing a bit of fun!
To end out the year, the Antone team took our local Revolutions for a night of food, dancing and a few (too many) drinks!! An absolutely brilliant night to close out the year. Thank you to all of our wonderful employees, colleagues, suppliers and clients are a fantastic year and all the best for 2024!
