Liz Earle
New Concept Development
Project overview
The story
Brand new concept development for retail launch of luxury skincare brand, Liz Earle. Intense design and development process utilising organic finishes to reflect the brands principles. Initial introduction into this John Lewis flagship store, closely followed by successful installs of the brand into further John Lewis and Boots sites nationwide.
The process
An intense design and development process to involving material sourcing to echo the finishes used by Liz Earle within other retailers. A project utilising the Antone full-service offer comprising of sketch concept options, 3D visualisation, space planning, value engineering, production and installation.
The FSDUs
Design, development, manufacture and dedicated delivery of freestanding merchandising units into Boots stores nationwide. Project management throughout and liaison with Boots head office to meet strict design and implementation guidelines. Material sourcing for durability and cost, combined with detailed technical development, effective machining and assembly processes.
The challenge
For full sites, it was crucial to incorporate and embrace the requirements for a self-contained water system with a sink to provide running hot and cold water to carry out treatments for one of their award-winning products.
The full sites
The initial project was based on five John Lewis stores with a clear brief of creating modular fixtures that could work in various configurations. We worked with a designer to create a suite of fixtures, thus creating batch manufacture for cost effective savings and fast track production.
The finishes
We love working with a wide range of materials that create texture and colour to bring a brand’s identity to life. We have had the challenge of incorporating white-washed cedar shingles, moss panels, pebbles, sand and stained oak veneer into the iconic design.
You are all amazing!! It is all spot on! It looks fab, very happy overall.
