Quotations
We specify the nature of quotations: ball-park indication, budget cost or fixed price and stand by costs for a period of one calendar month from issuing. We reserve the right to adjust costs after this time. Should raw material prices be particularly volatile this period may be shortened. Prices are derived from drawings and information available at the time of producing a quotation.
Our quotations are always net of VAT and in pounds sterling unless stated otherwise. We do not include for Import Taxes or other charges associated with contracts delivered abroad.
Orders
We appreciate not all customers are able to immediately supply Purchase Orders. We do, however, require written confirmation to proceed. We will acknowledge receipt of an instruction to proceed and notify customers that design, development or manufacturing costs are being incurred. Should an order be adjusted or cancelled we will present abortive costs as appropriate.
Design and Prototyping
We develop ideas on a ‘pay as you go’ basis and will endeavour to confirm potential costs prior to design development and/or prototype manufacture.
Drawings
ANTONE retains ownership of all technical drawings produced in connection with proto-typing or final manufacture unless paid for in full.
We may ask for approval from our customers of working drawing detail. This is to protect both sides and clarify exactly that which will be manufactured.
Payment
Payment terms for ALL new customers is a 50% Pro Forma invoice paid 7 days from invoice date. 40% is then due prior to delivery of goods with the balance paid 30 days from project completion.
Once a trading relationship is established our standard payment terms are 30 days from date of invoice. We retain ownership of all items manufactured by ANTONE until payment in full has been received.
Delivery Dates
We are committed to agreeing feasible installation dates at the point of order for all projects. Should circumstances dictate that delivery schedules need to be revised, we will communicate this as early as possible.
Insurance
Manufacturing work in progress for live projects is covered on our insurance policy (extent of ANTONE public and employers’ liability insurance is available upon request).
Items NOT covered on our insurance policy are customer owned retail fixtures and fittings held in storage, customer product or specialised technical equipment such as audio-visual equipment or furniture. Anything not owned by ANTONE is not insured by ANTONE and must be covered by our customers insurance policy.
Guarantees
All items supplied by ANTONE are under warranty for a period not exceeding 12 months following delivery (6 months for electrical items). This guarantee covers construction defects but does not include damage caused by misuse, wear and tear or non-manufacturing related issues. Circumstances may dictate that this guarantee extends beyond the first year and we will work with customers to rectify issues as and when
appropriate.
Storage
Costs for items held in storage on behalf of our customers is charged monthly. This cost is dependant on the nature, size and duration of items held in storage.
Audits
We are happy to be audited by customers as required and will work with business partners to achieve appropriate accreditation.
